Champagne and dusty rose print are combined to create a stunning Civil War Southern Belle Antebellum ball gown. Hand made from authentic patterns to the era, with a 1800's print as the inspiration for the design. Extraordinary Gorgeous and very feminine! A dusty rose floral print on champagne and dusty rose background are exceptionally beautiful. Slight gray and cream accents are scattered across the fabric. An elegant satin blend fabric that reflects the light beautifully and drapes elegantly.
The bodice sits off the shoulder with five inch gathered lace. The sleeves are gathered to add fullness and accented with two rows of lace and trim. A battenburg and pearl embellishment sit on each shoulder and the bodices middle. The bodice is lightly boned and lined with muslin. It has a back closure of hook and eyes. Very authentic to the Civil War era.
The skirt has a beautiful drape with a slight train in the back and a back closure. The girth is two hundred and sixteen inches. The fullness of the skirt is emphasized in the back with beautiful gathering and folds.
The gown is shown over my mannequin Sara who is a size zero and it s heavily pinned. Sara also is about six feet tall, therefore the train in the back will be slightly longer depending on where the hem is set for the winning buyer.
The gown is shown over a six bone hoop and petticoat. The hem will be set to buyers preference. If you have any questions, please just drop me a note. Measurements follow. As always thank you for viewing my gowns!
