A simply gorgeous Civil War reproduction ball gown. ...Inspired by designs from the 1800's and made from patterns of that era. A beautiful blending of shades with chocolate bridal satin and an exquisite satin brocade print... Paired together the final result is a gilded luminous presence.
A brocade print in blue, chocolate and a faint latte rose are combined to create a feminine one of a kind gown. Doubly enchanting the print reflects the light differently in a variety of lighting... In the evening light a faint hint of the latte shade with a soft rose hue shines beautifully. The deep chocolate panel in front is a perfect background for over two hundred Austrian and Bavarian crystals. Each hand sewn in shades of col bolt blue, copper and amber. The crystal pattern is perfectly framed by one inch latte rose trim flecked with gold in a diamond pattern. The front nine inch box ruffle is finished in the brocade print and stands out nicely against the chocolate satin. Latte rose trim holds ten chocolate satin roses and Bavarian crystals. Chocolate nine inch satin pleating surrounds the bottom and back of the skirt.
The lightly boned and lined bodice sits slightly off the shoulder. Small pleats surround the neckline with matching trim. It closes in the back with concealed hook and eyes. Additional trim also accents each sleeves.
The gown is shown over a six boned hoop with a petticoat. As always thank you so very much for viewing my store and my gown. This designs skirt might be shortened by removing the waistband and adjusting the length. Final Alterations are the responsibility of the buyer. Please take careful measurements.
