A design from the 1860's that has to be my personal favorite...The softness of the colors and the crispness of the over skirt just appeals to my feminine nature. What it is about pink and white that always draws the eye.... a gentle style that eludes grace and femininity. This Civil War dress is a striking combination of what the well dressed woman might be found wearing while attending the duties that a home required. A detailed white bodice with dropped sleeves. A extra full skirt with a sheer over skirt....perfect for adding lace inserts at the hemline and lace touches throughout the gown!
Suggested fabrics are silk, satin and crisp cotton.
I use authentic patterns, duplicates from different era's. I also design my own. As of this date my work has been used in plays abroad, musical productions and reenacting. There is no compromise on authenticity and construction. Only the highest quality fabrics are used. Each piece is sewn carefully and finished as if it were a wedding dress. My goal is that each item reflects it's individuality with great craftsmanship...nothing rushed...details however small that captures someones eye and turns their head to admire...I believe my gowns will make you feel amazing and my customers will make my gowns look beautiful!!!
