The name Wyldemor is the
old English version of my maiden name and is something cherished. A
love for history, antiques and traditions has always been reflected in
my life. Forty years ago my dear auntie Mame began her patient
instruction and laid the foundation for a love of sewing. She made it
clear that there were people who could sew...and then there were
seamstresses. She had the patience of a saint and was a stickler for
details. The final result was a lifelong expression in design. Since I
have retired from being a sewing instructor I can now devote more of my
energies to create beautiful garments.
I use authentic historical patterns. Antique patterns carefully restored from different eras. I also design
my own patterns. As of this date my work has been used in theater abroad, musical
productions and reenacting. There is no compromise on authenticity and
construction. I use only the highest quality fabrics, laces and trims. Each piece is
sewn carefully and finished as if it were a wedding dress. My goal is
that every item expresses individuality with extraordinary craftsmanship...nothing rushed...details however small that captures
someones eye and turns their head to admire...I believe my gowns will
make you feel amazing and my customers will make my gowns look
beautiful!!! I look forward to working with you.
Warm Regards Mary
